The Chrome Special Edition is a W800 with extra chrome detailing, most visible on the fuel tank, while keeping the 773 cc fuel-injected air-cooled twin and steel double-cradle frame. Its engine delivers most of its pull between roughly 3000 and 5000 rpm, and a reviewer found it a relaxed bike for commuting and cruising. It sits in the W range as a more dressed-up version of the standard W800.
